Family Beach Trip

Last Thursday Ben and I went down to Gulf Shores with my family for a long weekend. It was a very relaxing trip and we had a great time! Unfortunately, Matt wasn't able to go with us (stupid job) but fortunately I had lots of help with grandparents and aunts and uncles around. As you can see Ben had a great time swimming and playing at the beach! We are ready to go back!

Ben got tubes in his ears on August 21st. We have such high hopes for these tiny little miracles of modern science. I'm talking SLEEP-FILLED NIGHTS. Almost 2 weeks in and I would say (knock on wood) there has been a definite improvement. We aren't perfect yet, but right now it seems damn near close. Funny how "sleeping through the night" (or STTN for those that spend hours searching the internet for the "solution") becomes ALL you think about, read about, dream about, and fight about when your baby just doesn't do it. Matt may be eating a lot of words very soon . . . .
